The joy of dance is for everyone!
We provide dance classes for dancers of all ages. Are you looking for a hobby that is fun, that will get you in shape, that will strenghten your bodily expression, or are you looking for something more goal-directed and want to be part of our competition groups and performances? We have dance classes of different levels for everyone above the age of 3.
For childrenFor children, we can provide a range of active courses from children’s dance classes to mini ballet and acrobatics. We have groups in children’s dance classes and mini ballet starting from 3-year-olds. For the beginners’ acrobatics the age limit is 4. In the classes, your child will learn basic skills in moving, rhythm and space, as well as get to know their own body whilst learning about working in a group. The world of dance and acrobatics is explored through games and mental imagery. The classes directed at children are a stepping stone for later studies in specific dance styles, and are counted as part of the studies in basic education in arts. |
Youth & teenagersWe offer basic education in arts for youngsters from on the age of 7. In our selection we have, for example, contemporary dance, classical ballet, lyrical jazz, hip hop, breakdance, locking, DANCE, show jazz, commercial dance, body maintenance and acrobatics. It is possible to complete the basic education in arts in either the basic or advanced syllabus. The advanced syllabus is available for contemporary dance or street styles as the main subject of studies. Our student advisor Ulla Koho as well as our other teachers will provide help in matters regarding studies in dance. |
